With a background in the creative industries, today my work is focused on supporting brands, artists and makers with the technical and practical side of knitwear development, from yarn and product development through to sampling, production and working with manufacturers.
Based in Northern Portugal, my business is closely connected to one of Europe’s most established and highly skilled textile and knitwear manufacturing regions. The area is home to a remarkable concentration of specialist mills, knitting houses and manufacturers, many with decades of technical knowledge and generations of experience.
What makes this region particularly exciting is the combination of traditional craftsmanship with some of the most progressive approaches to textile innovation, sustainability and production. Established manufacturers are investing in new technologies, responsible materials, traceability and more efficient production methods, while continuing to offer the high levels of quality and technical expertise demanded by premium and luxury brands.
This unique manufacturing ecosystem allows brands to access exceptional technical expertise, high-quality production and a more responsive European supply chain. The role is to bridge the gap between the brand’s creative vision and this network of specialist manufacturers, helping turn ideas into well-made, commercially viable knitwear.

I offer flexible, tailored support to suit each brand and stage of development. Whether you need ongoing production and supplier management or focused support for a specific project, I work closely with you to bring your ideas from concept through to final production.
My services can include factory and supplier sourcing, technical design and support, product development, sampling, costing, quality control and production management as well as brand support.
I work on either a day rate, or through an agreed project or monthly retainer, depending on your needs and scope. Every collaboration is tailored to provide the right level of expertise, guidance and hands-on support to help bring your collection to life.

Qualifications and Experience
My journey into knitwear has grown from a deep-rooted fascination with textiles, craftsmanship and the stories held within the making of things. With a strong technical understanding of knitwear design and production, alongside a lifelong interest in the history and craft of textiles, I bring together creative vision and practical expertise. I have developed an in-depth knowledge of yarns, materials, construction, techniques and the processes involved in taking a knitwear idea from initial concept through to a beautifully considered finished piece. This understanding of materials and making is at the heart of how I approach every project.
Before specialising in knitwear, I built a career as a Creative Producer working across the arts, heritage and cultural sectors, collaborating closely with contemporary artists, designers, institutions and makers. My work has included projects with the National Trust, the Victoria and Albert Museum, the National Maritime Museum in Amsterdam, the University of Sussex, the University of Brighton and the Royal School of Art, as well as working with Thomas Heatherwick Studio and Christie’s auction house. I have also worked closely with artists and designers including Ronnie Wood, Hetty van der Linden, Zandra Rhodes, Stella McCartney, Annette Rose Krotoshin and Derek Rose, to name a few. I have strong connections in working with UHNW private collections. Working across such diverse creative environments has given me a broad understanding of how ideas are developed, presented and brought to life, while teaching me the importance of craftsmanship, attention to detail and maintaining the integrity of an artist or designer’s original vision. It has also given me extensive experience of bringing together creative teams, institutions, craftspeople and production partners to deliver highly considered work.
My move into knitwear began with the creation of my own cashmere brand, where I gained first-hand experience of developing a collection, working with manufacturers and navigating the many technical and creative decisions involved in producing high-quality, commercial knitwear. Through this experience, I discovered that what I love most is working alongside other designers, brands and artists, helping them translate their ideas into thoughtfully designed, beautifully made knitwear.
Today, I combine my creative production background, textile knowledge and technical knitwear expertise to support brands from concept and development through to sampling and production. I bring a collaborative and hands-on approach to every project, working to create knitwear that feels distinctive, considered and rooted in quality, history and craftsmanship.
